Director of Operations

Summary:

We’ve been retained by Dynamic Access to find a Director of Operations for their Infusion Ventures division.  This is a newly created position and a great opportunity for someone entrepreneurial, with a great deal of support, to be a foundational part of leading a national growth initiative for Infusion Ventures.

The Organization:

Based in Plano, TX, Dynamic Access was founded in 2004 (under the name Dynamic Infusion Therapy).  They became the largest outsourced provider of vascular access insertions (PICC lines), serving more than 700 health systems and hospitals, long term acute care facilities, nursing homes and other healthcare providers.  Dynaic Access’ outsourced service delivers an overall better value to its customers than is possible in-house. Maintaining an in-house vascular access team and the supplies needed for vascular access is costly and many patients are forced to wait long periods of time for the procedure. The Company’s full-service offering includes the upfront procurement of supplies needed for the insertions to eventual completion of the procedure by one of Dynamic Access’ specially trained, employed nurses. They provide 24/7 coverage, quick turn-around times and has consistently achieved a 99% success rate with its insertions.

In February of 2021, Dynamic Access (www.dynamciaccess.com) was purchased by RiverGlade Capital (www.rivergladecapital.com).  RiverGlade is a healthcare services-focused private equity firm that invests in founder-owned, high-quality, differentiated businesses. RiverGlade partners with companies that have demonstrated strong organic growth and where value can be accelerated through human capital investments, operational improvements, strategic planning, and dynamic organic and inorganic growth initiatives.  They have an outstanding reputation and history of success in the healthcare services sector.

At the time of the acquisition in 2001, Dynamic Access operated in just six states. Since RiverGlade’s investment in 2021, Dynamic Access has grown through multiple acquisitions as well as organic growth and are now in 14 states.  They completed 5 acquisitions in 2022, one of those being Infusion Ventures (www.infustionventures.com) , based in Boston.

Infusion Ventures, a Dynamic Access company, has a somewhat similar business model to Dynamic Access, with a different application of nursing care and provided in a home setting.  As Infusion Ventures grows, they will be supported by the administrative services of Dynamic Access.  Based in Boston, Infusion Ventures currently operates in 5 states: Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
