Area Director of Operations
Long Island, NY

Summary:

We’ve been retained by Dynamic Infusion to find an Area Director of Operations for Critical HealthCare, based on Long Island, NY.  This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic, growing company that has both outstanding leadership and private equity partner.

The Organization:

Dynamic Infusion, www.dynamicinfusion.com  is the home infusion division of a larger,

national organization, Dynamic Access, www.dynamicaccess.com.  This is a very well-run

company with excellent leadership, a positive culture, and quality private equity partner.  In the

last three years, Dynamic Access has tripled in revenue from $20M to $60M.  The ongoing growth

and development of the company will allow this person, if so motivated, other professional growth opportunities.

History:

Dynamic Access was founded in 2004 (under the name Dynamic Infusion Therapy).  They became the largest outsourced provider of vascular access insertions (PICC lines), serving more than 700 health systems and hospitals, long term acute care facilities, nursing homes and other healthcare providers.  Dynamic Access’ outsourced service delivers an overall better value to its customers than is possible in-house. Maintaining an in-house vascular access team and the supplies needed for vascular access is costly and many patients are forced to wait long periods of time for the procedure. The Company’s full-service offering includes the upfront procurement of supplies needed for the insertions to eventual completion of the procedure by one of Dynamic Access’ specially trained, employed nurses. They provide 24/7 coverage, quick turn-around times and has consistently achieved a 99% success rate with its insertions.

In February of 2021, Dynamic Access (www.dynamciaccess.com) was purchased by RiverGlade Capital (www.rivergladecapital.com).  RiverGlade is a healthcare services-focused private equity firm that invests in founder-owned, high-quality, differentiated businesses. RiverGlade partners with companies that have demonstrated strong organic growth and where value can be accelerated through human capital investments, operational improvements, strategic planning, and dynamic organic and inorganic growth initiatives.  They have an outstanding reputation and history of success in the healthcare services sector.

At the time of the acquisition in 2001, Dynamic Access operated in just six states. Since RiverGlade’s investment in 2021, Dynamic Access has grown through 10 acquisitions as well as organic growth and are now in 24 states.  In 2022, Dynamic Access acquired Infusion Ventures (www.infustionventures.com) , based in Boston.  Though a different type of clinical service, the fundamental principle of deployed specialized clinical staff is the same and a great fit.  They have acquired NursePro in Pennsylvania and will continue to grow and develop Infusion Ventures through organic, de novo, and other acquisitions.

Opportunity:

Dynamic Infusion (www.dynamicinfusion.com) has recently entered a management agreement  with Critical HealthCare (www.critical-healthcare.com), who has provided home infusion nursing services in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania since 2002.  They currently average 700-800 patient visits per month (mostly chronic vs. acute), currently with 95 RNs on staff, mostly part-time, and are W-2 employees.  There are another 9 administrative personnel on staff.

The Area Director will report to the Vice President of Operations for Dynamic Infusion.  This person will be responsible for the overall operation, growth and development of Critical HealthCare.
