Summary:

The Rottman Group, Inc. has been retained by the Ennen Eye Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas to find an Ophthalmologist.  This is an outstanding opportunity for someone to step into an already very busy practice with a large patient base and adjoining Ambulatory Surgery Center.  An intent of this opportunity is proactive succession planning by founder Dr. Randy Ennen.

 

Practice:

The Ennen Eye Center (www.enneneyecenter.com)  was founded and is led by

Dr. Randy Ennen, MD.    

This is a very busy practice, providing a full scope of eye care.  

In addition to Dr. Ennen the practice also employs two Optometrists.  Their involvement

in primary and perioperative care has allowed him to focus on surgical and medical

care.  Dr. Ennen performs approximately 2,000 cataracts and 400 Lasik procedures per

year. 

The clinic has 12 exam lanes.  The current technology available includes OPD III, four TRS lanes, two EPIC lanes.  Pentacam, Atlas, IDESIGN, Visual Field, two Heidleburg Spectral Domain OCT’s, fundus photography, endothelial cell counter, and Lenstar with Verion. 

Surgical care is handled in the adjoining two OR suite surgery center.  They have Lumera microscopes, Alcon Centurion phaco machines, ORA, and a LenSx femtosecond laser.  Also, for glaucoma care they have a transscleral cyclophotocoagulation and SLT lasers. 

This person will walk into a very busy and thriving practice with a great reputation and growth opportunity.

 

This opportunity allows you to focus on the practice of medicine and patient care vs. worrying about

equipment, staffing, contracting/reimbursement issues.  You will find a well staffed, well trained,

and highly efficient/coordinated work environment .  This model will accelerate your professional

development and success.

Dr. Ennen is 60 years old.  Recruiting this Ophthalmologist has the intention of this person

becoming a partner in the organization and would be natural to see this as succession planning.

seriously evaluate and consider. 

 

Background on Dr. Ennen:

Dr. Randy Ennen started his own private practice in 1988. You aren’t going to fit Dr. Ennen into traditional boxes.  At work he is very focused, efficient, and passionate about excellence and patient care.  Even though Dr. Ennen likes to work hard, he has also been characterized by staff as charismatic and easy going.

 When it comes to demonstrating balance and enjoyment of life and its experiences, you may find Dr. Ennen, literally, anywhere in the world.  Sailing the coast of New Zealand, hiking the Incan Trail to Machu Pichu, visiting the sacred Ganges River at Varanasi, hiking Kilimanjaro, and spending time with the mountain gorillas in Uganda and Rwanda are some of the ways Dr. Ennen has done this.
