Executive Director of Revenue Cycle Operations

Austin, Texas

Summary:

The Rottman Group has been retained to find an Executive Director of Revenue Cycle Operations for RC Billing (www.rcbilling.com), in Austin, TX. This is a newly created role due to growth to add to the depth of a great leadership team. They are the #1 3rd party billing company in the United States for radiation oncology. RC Billing has been a great success story and has a very team oriented and high value-people culture.

Organization:

Founded by Ron DiGiaimo, CEO in 2003, today RC Billing is the #1 3rd party billing resource in the radiation oncology

sector in the United States. (They do also work with other specialties). In 2006, Ron recruited Mitzi Wilson, President,

to join him. Together, they’ve grown RC Billing to a team of 100+ people, processing $1 Billion of claims per year, with

clients in 20 states. They currently work 36 different databases for their existing clients which consist of 254

physicians. RC Billing is anticipating continued growth of an additional $500M processed over the next three years.

Ron and Mitzi are well known nationally in this space, sit on various boards, and are frequent expert speakers. It takes

very little time spent with them to realize their depth of knowledge and experience, but more so how much they care

about the people and quality of the organization.

Aside from the company’s size, and growth success, there is a very high value-people, family-like organizational

culture. It’s a professional, but relaxed corporate environment.

They currently use Allscripts’ Tiger system, but are converting to Allscripts Pro PM system.

RC Billing also has sister companies that provide complimentary services: The Oncology Group, Coding Strategies, and

Revenue Cycle, Inc.

The Role:

Reporting to Mitzi Wilson, President, this is a newly created role based on organizational growth.

This person will co-lead the billing/collection revenue cycle team of 70 people. This person doesn’t need to already have oncology specific experience. They do need the ability to work with multiple different clients and lead a team of people.

While they currently have a productive and efficient operation, they want someone who is able to be strategic, brings new ideas, and is results oriented.  This person needs to be able to analyze reports, give feedback, created and execute strategy to continue to improve the operations and organization.

This person should be an interactive and engaged leader.
