The Rottman Group has
been retained to find a Practice Administrator for an 8 physician, two-location
practice in Midland & Odessa, TX. This practice is component of “TOPA”
(Texas Oncology, P.A.) and on a larger scale part of U.S. Oncology. This
is a great opportunity to lead the continued growth and development of these
successful practices.
The
Opportunity
There are 8 full time
oncologists that make up this overall practice 3 medical and 1 radiation
oncologist in
There is approximately $40M in
revenue generated by these practices.
There are approximately 100
employees that this person will lead. Each
site has a nurse manager and chief radiation technologist, pharmacist, lab, and
business office leaders.
There are no other oncologists
in either
They have already implemented
and are fully functional with an EMR system.
This is also a career

the Practice Administrator, this person will provide overall strategic,
operational, and financial leadership for these practices.

person needs to be able to:

Any program, ancillary service development would be a plus.
In
contrast to a stand alone practice setting, this person will have a very broad
set of support resources.

person needs to be someone that is able to be both a visionary strategist as
well as a hands-on operational leader.

Basin in west Texas, the combined Midland/Odessa market is home to
approximately 250,000
