The Company:

US Oncology has had a wonderful history of success.  This has been a factor of its business model as well as the culture of leadership that permeates the organization.  People experience US Oncology as a positive, value people, fair minded environment both to work in as well as to do business with.  It is this win-win experience that has allowed US Oncology to not only survive in the physician practice management industry, but to thrive and continue to grow on a national basis.

US Oncology is the nation's largest health-care services network devoted exclusively to cancer treatment and research, and a pioneer in community-based cancer care since 1993. Today, their network of approximately 1,000 affiliated physicians delivers care to more than half a million cancer patients each year - including over 15% of all newly diagnosed U.S. cases. In fact, they serve more cancer patients than any other single health-care organization in America .

Building upon their network 392 sites of services, including 90 cancer centers, in 34 states, they ensure the latest technology and treatment advances at the local level through two primary product offerings:

Through US Oncology's core services - plus their unparalleled national scale - they are advancing the delivery of high-quality oncology care in many ways.

They are accelerating the pace of cancer research by accruing patients to clinical trials, allowing more patients to have access to new molecules and therapies. They are bringing state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technologies to local towns and cities. They are leveraging economies-of-scale to reduce health-care costs. And they are working with patient advocacy groups to drive public-policy efforts.

Putting it simply, they are a strong force in the war on cancer, employing their nationwide resources to fight cancer in every way possible. In doing so, they are driving an innovative new services model and helping oncologists deliver the best possible care.
